From Western dressage, classical dressage, hunter, pleasure driving and ranch horse classes, Homer is a modern “renaissance horse” with a wide-array of knowledge in an impressive number of jobs. Breeding Opportunities

Now it’s time for the next chapter in Homer’s life: passing on his keen mind, balanced conformation and athletic ability to offspring. Limited frozen semen available to approved mares.

Homer and his owner Elizabeth Stauber-Johnson feel strongly about helping horses in need, therefore, 20% of the breeding fee will be donated to a 501(c)3 Equine Rescue in the mare’s region.

Homer’s Pedigree

Homer is a 2005 Appendix Quarterhorse by the legendary Quarter Horse Stallion, Rugged Lark, and Sail Home Again (TB).

Rugged Lark was a two-time AQHA World Champion Farnam Superhorse, a three-time AQHA World Champion and an AQHA Hall of Fame inductee.

Homer has done it all and done it well. His proper conformation of shoulder and topline gives him the ability to easily adjust his length of stride from collected to lengthened.

“Larks Home Run is one of the most honest and open-minded horses I know… His temperament and willingness to learn and to build a partnership with his rider are my favorite qualities.”
