Homer participated in the 2016 Hoosier’s Horse Exposition Make-A-Wish Foundation Exhibition. Immediately following a bridleless demo, auction bidding on Homer's portrait by Lisa Clements Guckelberg raised $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Homer's handsome good looks, willingness and rideability earned him a starring role in a series of how-to DVDs titled “Let Your Horse Be Your Teacher.”
Homer was a willing participant in one of the demonstrations showcasing his talents and expertise during the 16 days of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games held in Lexington's Kentucky Horse Park.
